Gentle Reader... I just finished playing a six year old twice daily for the youth of America in a Theatrework's production of Junie B. Jones. Now I am heading back home to my Justin and our little nest in Astoria :) I am also going to be giving vocal coachings again and we will both be doing that from our home conveniently located off of the Broadway stop. small, but he has giant plans...just like

friend like you who I can talk to about
anything. You are such an amazingly
supportive and truly devoted friend to
everyone you meet...and you make me
laugh till I pee. I will always love
watching you pantomime episodes from
my sex life, and hearing you belt higher
(and better) than idina menzel just to
make me laugh.
testify! Ms. B is a dear friend. He has been a
light in the fog of my return to theater. It's not
easy to put into words this friendship that has
touched me so deeply. Sometimes I have
trouble seeing everything as clearly as I
would like to, and his clear vision guides my
way. He makes me feel strong, and he helps
me find myself as an actress and as a person.
As a human being he is self-aware, caring,
gentle, friendly, hilarious, kick back, talented
beyond all possible belief, and incredibly fun
to be around. Spending time with him,
getting to know him, and building this
friendship has been so much fun, that I know
we are going to be dear friends for a very
long time. Very seldom in our lives as adults
do we meet people who mean so much to us
so quickly. I'm very thankful for his presence
in my life, and for the other new friends that
come with it. Brett is very cool, I feel lucky to
know him.

things. (see what i mean) anyway, like
everyone knows, brett is a person that
this world needs in it. brett is a
person that you can meet or see just
once and never ever forget. brett is
the person we all want to be, and the
person we all are. brett is the most
talented, HILARIOUS, and loving person
i have yet to meet. i can always turn
to him, and will miss him more than i
can say. i love you brett, and hope
your dreams come true.

This is probably the 250th time I've
tried to write this and it's never good
enough...here goes: Brett has been one
of my best friends for 4 years, and 4
years strong. Practically every good
memory from freshman year to graduation
involves Brett (including breaking my
closet door then using it to practice
his tap dance on or his consistent
question if my date tried to "stick it
in"). He has been a source of
inspriration, support, and
collaboration on both a personal and
professional level. I am a better
person and a better choreographer
because of the influences he has had on
my life. He knows me better than anyone
and can tell instantly when something
is wrong or when something wonderful
has happened. I feel I can comfortably
share my work, my art, my day, my most
embarassing stories, my dirty secrets,
my worries, my terrible accents with
him...he even tried watching an episode
of Buffy. I, honestly, don't know what
I'm going to do in 3 months when we're
living on opposite sides of the state,
and then the country. But,
somehow...I'm not that worried. This
man has a loving heart, and honest
perspective, the fuckin' funniest sense
of humor, and a voice that makes me
cry. There is no doubt in my mind...he
will be famous, he will be happy, and
he deserves every goddamn second of
success. I love him very much.

at UCI. You're the only person that I
can say I've shared the experience
with of lighting Matt's arm on fire
and breaking a hammock...all in one
night. Now that's special.
since I was a baby in college. You
were the one person I've always felt
had the most confidence in me, and I
will ALWAYS appreciate you for that.

glad I have gotten to know him, he is
just such an amazing person and makes
people so happy! Besides being a great
human being, he is SO incredible
talented!!! Like it's nuts. He is an
AMAZING singer, actor and dancer. Plus
he can direct like woah. He has
brought so much joy into my life and
so many others- ur GREAT dude!!!!!! :)
sweetheart, and what ASTOUNDING
talent. I did a musical theatre review
with him at UCI, and I was just amazed
on a daily basis at how much he has to
give both as a person and as an
artist. He's incredible to work with
because he's always smiling and giving
every second his best effort; always
pouring his heart and soul into
everything he does. He has an
irrisistable charm that can make
anyone feel good about themself just
by being around him. I feel very
honored to have had the chance to
experience musical theatre with
him!

most amazing people I have ever met.
For those of us lucky enough to know
Brett, he is someone who constantly
inspires and touches the lives of the
people in his life. An indispensible
friend, he is considerate, caring,
compassionate, warm, sensitive, witty,
absolutely hilarious, and so much more
that can't even be put to words. (not to
mention incredibly gorgeous, as well!)
In having the honor of meeting his
wonderful family, and seeing him at his
own home, it is no wonder that he is
such a remarkable and loving person. He
most definitely brings a smile to anyone
around him. He constantly astounds
people every day with his incredible
talents...as a singer, actor, dancer,
musician, director, music director,
choreographer, artist, and teacher,
anyone who has worked with Brett on an
artistic level will agree that he is one
of the most talented people they have
ever met. I can't begin to tell you how
inspirational it is to listen to his
voice, see him perform, hear him play
the piano, and watch him in his natural
element, as he most definitely loves
what he does. I have no doubt that he
will succeed in whatever he choses to do
in life. And finally, I can speak for
myself in saying that I am blessed,
unbelievely honored, and so proud that I
can call Brett my boyfriend, someone who
has given me the gift of love that I
couldn't have dreamed was possible.
