While I know myself as a creation of God, I am also obligated to realize and remember that everyone else and everything else are also God's creation. My life has been one great big joke, a dance that's walked a song that's spoke, I laugh so hard I almost choke when I think about myself.I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself. When I chased after money, I never had enough. When I got my life on purpose and focused on giving of myself and everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous. I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it. When I am getting ready to reason with a man, I spend one-third of my time thinking about myself and what I am going to say and two-thirds about him and what he is going to say. Every man is said to have his peculiar ambition. Whether it be true or not, I can say for one that I have no other so great as that of being truly esteemed of my fellow men, by rendering myself worthy of their esteem. The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one whose answers I accept.It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself. I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won't presume to probe into the faults of others. The first thing which I can record concerning myself is, that I was born. These are wonderful words. This life, to which neither time nor eternity can bring diminution - this everlasting living soul, began. My mind loses itself in these depths.
