I haven't seen Amy in a few years but
if she's anything like I remember from
high school then she's got to still be
the same sweet girl from Government
and Economics A.P. class.
well, Amy and I go back a LOOOONNNNGG
ways, and I must say, these past . . .
goodness. . . 10? 12? 15? years have
been awesome. Amy is my bestest friend
in the whole wide world; there was a
time in your lives when people actually
thought we were sisters! if i were to
ask God for a sister, she'd be the one
I would want to be blood-related
to. . . she's loving and gentle enough
to rebuke me without making me hang my
head, totally fun to hang out with
(lots of laughs that have made my eyes
tear up from laughing so hard), lots of
crazy times (pranks at church camp
retreats--who said Christians were tame
and boring?), a shoulder to cry on and
an ear to listen, and a heart to
faithfully pray. If you looked up "mon
chere amie" in my french dictionary,
her picture would be right there! mucho
amor a tu, mi mejor amiga.
So I'm writing this this testimonial
for Amy when I realize that I only
talked to her 3 times! Even though I
never got to really know her, I know
she is a great person from what her
friends say about her. And from just
talking to her a few times, I could see
why she is so well liked. Amy is a
beautiful person not just on the
outside, but on the inside as well. And
by that I mean she just has a
certain "goodness" that shows through.
I wish I had met her sooner, because by
the time I did, she was off to Hong
Kong. Ya know, even though I only met
her 3 times, I miss her.
I am using another profile now
Take a look and leave me a comment while you are there!
