About Me:
I kinda hate talking about myself but if I have to . . . I think the thing I'm most interested in is meeting lots of people and hearing about what they do and their experiences. I love getting to know all kinds of different people and trying to figure out who they are and what makes them tick. I ask A LOT of questions (though I'm trying to cut back). My friends and family are the most important thing to me and I'll do absolutely anything to be sure they're happy and to take care of them. I can get along with just about anyone. The only thing I can't stand is people who are fake and manipulative. Just be yourself and be honest - life's too short.
I'm a graduate student in biology at UCSF. I work with yeast trying to perfect the carb-free cinnabon (at least that's what my friends think I do). I actually study the ends of chromosomes, telomeres, which is fun because I get to pretend I work on cancer and aging. Even though most of what I do every day is boring and tedious, I love those rare moments when we figure out something new that no one else knew before. And I absolutely love living in San Francisco. I love getting dressed up and going out with friends for the symphony or a movie or just to go out to drink and dance. Probably my favorite thing is having lunch or coffee with a friend and just talking. Well, I guess that's about it, I'm a science nerd (complete with DNA tattoo), a good friend, and always ready for fun.
Hmm, this is long, maybe I do like talking about myself.

Who I Want to Meet:
Interesting, open-minded, fun people . . . and if you happen to be hot, well, so be it. And I'd really like to meet Aretha Franklin, I love how she sings out her soul, and I think we'd be friends. Distract me at work - AIM: telomereboy.

loves cats. Yeah I guess you could say we hit it
off. We always have fun together, whether it is
dancing to Britney at a dive bar in San Jose, or
just hanging out in his room talking about cats.

Wait, let me think about this for a
second (*points figure up*)... ok this
guy is a freakin' riot to hang out
with. He is always there to have a good
time and nothing else. Dan, you're
awesome, you can always make me laugh
when I really need it, and you always
know when I do too! Love his kitties,
excpet that really furry one, Sophie is
it? Yeah, that one makes me sneeze, but
it is fun to pet her. There other one
is a little schizophrenic but doesn't
make me sneeze. I've only known you for
a little over a year now, and we def
have had our fair share of good times
(not that a fair share is nearly
enough). Now that this testimonial is
long and pointless, I will leave with
