About Me:
Here's the 30-second elevator spiel:
I'm a geek with an artistic streak, a mature adult with childlike charm, a smart, sophisticated gentleman with a love for the simple things in life.
---
But perhaps I should elaborate. Yes, I'm a self-proclaimed geek (I'm writing this on my laptop while in bed, connected via my wireless network). But I'm also an actor (thus the headshot photo) and a dancer (Victorian ballroom & Irish ceili mostly). Why do I use the word ''childlike''? Well, I can be pretty silly sometimes. And the fact that I have an annual pass to Disneyland should tell you something. Finally, yes, I love going out to a nice restaurant and then to the theatre, but I'm just as happy staying at home, ordering out pizza or Chinese food, and watching a couple of episodes of Gilmore Girls on the TiVo.
---
Some other tidbits:
I'm a night owl, not a morning person, a cat person, not a dog person, an omnivore, not a vegetarian. I love kids, and they seem to love me. I don't like olives. The favorite car I ever owned was my first: a 1972 orange superbeetle with a white convertible top. I own my own kilt. And my favorite Bloom County character is Binkley.
-
Who I Want to Meet:
First off, polyamorous people need not apply. Though I respect the
tenets of polyamory, and many of my friends are polyamorous, I am
decidedly not. (If you don't know what the word means, you're probably
not.)
---
I'm looking for someone to challenge me. By that, I mean 3 separate
things: (1) someone who will encourage me to do things I've never done
before, taste things I've never eaten before, and generally experience
things I may not have even thought to experience; (2) someone who will
challenge me to be the best person I can possibly be: the best dancer,
the best actor, the best Web engineer; and (3) someone who will
challenge my basic assumptions about life and the universe.
Oh, and you have to want to go to Disneyland with me some day.

writing dear olde Fred a testimonial.
Where can one begin? I met Fyne Fred on
Freindster, along with Fyne Fred's
Friends. We have had much Fun and
Frolicking, Food and Festive-ness. Late-
night readings of LeGuin and, hey,
what's that other guy you were reading?
You know, the GUY, in the PLACE? Where
they did the toasting? And threw their
glasses on the hearth? YOU know. You
owe me another one!
working with him was fun and he always
has a sharp wit about him. Sweet and
waaaaaaaay to intelegent for his own
good. Fred is neat!
friend. For years, whenever I've
needed a shoulder to cry on, a couch to
crash on, or someone to laugh with over
the absurdity of it all, he's been
there for me. And if you find yourself
standing in a parking lot realizing
that it's 2 AM and you've been talking
for hours without noting time's
passing, it's an excellent chance that
you're talking with Frederik.
home in the spotlight or in the background.
And he's even gainfully employed! All you
single women out there, what are you waiting
for? ;)
at home and whine to your pals that all
the good men are taken, I inform you
without fear of contradiction:
Frederik is a friggin' find. He's
funny, talented, intelligent and very
gentle.
that he is a most groovy person, a
groovy actor, a good friend, and an all
around good egg! A great person to
know and love!
thing. He's friendly & sweet & has a great
smile. (And a really nice head shot too. Ya
clean up purty, boy!)
snuggly and loveable and cute. And he's
a good dancer. And he has the best
facial expressions. He's my favorite
Belgian.
