the woods, and both of us were starving, but there

year at CCAC I took a painting class
with Mannie. Every evening, he
would march in with his little record
player and plug it into the wall and
play Johnny Cash. I'll admit, I hated it
then. I wanted to murder Manny for
playing Johnny Cash while I was
trying to paint! Let me explain...I had
been picked up by aliens and forced
to only like, ahem, electronic music
at the time. Well eventually, their
spell wore off, and I've grown to love
Johnny Cash again. Manny was the
first person to help me see through
the haze of alien influence! Thanks
Manny, for Johnny Cash records, and
lots of good times at art school. I
miss u, hopefully I'll see u in O again
sometime soon.
