      • Viv's great. She secretly flies into town and calls
me up - we hang out after 2 whole years of not
seeing each other and go shopping and go to the
beach. Then the little cooter gets sick, gets me
sick, gets my roommate sick and gets that guy i
made out with sick. Viv always leave a little
something for you to remember her by.... and
        luckily, it's not an STD.

      • Vivien is the stylish chick to end all
stylish chicks. She began the tank
top with skinny straps craze. It's
because of her that we can let our
bra straps show. She is the only
person I have ever allowed to call
me by my full name. Whoever
thought that a prom queen could be
        so sweet.

      • I used to hang with Vivien often, after
meeting her in French class. She was
tons of fun. I scared her square
friends with a My Own Private Idaho
video, fun times. Hopefully one day we
can hang out and have a good
conversation. I remember she is good at
        that too.

      • I have known Viv since she was a wee
three year old babe and she has been
one of my dearest friends since.Viv is
home to me.She brings the sun with her
wherever she goes and is my favorite
ambassador to foreign lands.I think of
her whenever I listen to the Sundays or
        have chocolate ice-cream with milk
        poured over it:)I don't know what I
would do without her lovely spirit in
        my life.

      • Vivien was a wonderful roommate in
NYC - I loved living with both her and
her dress-up doll Pete in our posh
Village apartment. Viv always had a
way of letting me know she cared:
whether it was getting shit-canned our
first night in NYC or 3-week old
Kimchi in the fridge, she helped make
        the summer memorable.

      • Vivien is consummate. A
convergence of a good upbringing and an
optimal configuation of genes (I need
to get out more) makes her a source of
inspiration and dreams for many men. I
bear witness to this during our college
days (remember them?) at Berkeley. You
probably don't know this but it was
funny to see how, out of respect for
me, many of my friends would pretend
not to notice you or find you not to be
their "type." Of course, a few of the
truly disillusioned would ask me for my
blessings, to which I would say, "you,
my homeboy are not good enough." I did
get a lot of free meals out of this
though. A fringe benefit I say of
being your cousin. And judging by my
size now, there must've been many such
meals in question. It is funny how we
both came from the coasts to now reside
in the Midwest to pursue our careers.
        I don't doubt that you'll be a better
person because of this and successful.
As for me, I just want to ultimately
rebel against my parents and become a
        backup dancer.

      • She keeps getting prettier. She was
the first & only person to shave my
head...coming to the rescue as I
struggled to "BIC" it myself from
scratch (no pun intended) I am ever
so grateful that she helped me verify
the existence & location of my head
mole we wonder about throughout life.
Also, I once went out with a girl
        named Vivian, mistakenly thinking I
could ever relive my happy days with
Vivien. After that disaster, I can
honestly say there's only one Vivien.

a friend for life. Viv is the
        soon-to-be female counterpart of Pico
        Iyer, an adroit correspondent, a
wellspring of love, and another fellow
happa houlie who will conquer the
        world!
