**UPDATE** Our baby girl Jocelyn arrived May 12, 2006!
Blissfully happy semi-newlywed (it's been 4 years now) living out in the 'burbs. Love my job at Stanford Law School focusing on public interest law, one of my passions! Spent the first 3 years after law school as the Executive Director of a start-up nonprofit. Love spoiling Scrappy, my little stubborn terrier who thinks he's the big dog and likes to sleep on my lap (click on photos to see his pic!). THRILLED to be a new mom!

young woman who I've known for years...
I've seen her change from someone who
couldn't stand me to someone who felt
she might be able to tolerate me. LOL.
Ahhhh, I miss the proverbial thrust and
parry of our political jousts... I miss
learning so much from your views
(although I would never admit that)...
I miss that blurried summer of '96 that
remains a drunken haze, but most of
all... I miss my friend. (she got all
married and shizz!!!) =D
in this world strive to be like. She
has it all: brains, beauty, heart,
sincerity, personality, wit, strength,
confidence, modesty & ambition, to
name just a few. she's a can-do, type-
A person whose unbridled energy to
achieve is rivaled only by her caring,
compassionate nature. this is a woman
you want in your life. i feel lucky
and extremely proud to have such a
wonderful big sis! ;)
platoon came under fire and was
shellshocked, surrounded, and
whimpering in the rain, Anna would be
the one to bring everyone together,
give them a rousing gritty
inspirational speech, and then go off
by herself into the darkness and pick
off all the enemy singlehandedly with
insanely precise sniper fire.
The action-hero metaphor is,
unfortunately, not broad enough to also
cover her unbelievable energy, the
summer warmth of her soul, and a heart
that bounces. Anna has made me a better
person, and I love her very much.
