i met LeeAnne in a train station in raton new
mexico. her grandmother offered me a polish hot
dog. though i declined because i was a veggie at
the time, but eventually found myself pawning it off
on some kid.
on the train i couldnt sleep and found myself
making coversations the entire time in the
observation car with people as they came and went.
talked to dozens and dozens of people in that train.
skip to the relevence. LeeAnne comes up to the car
just before sunset and sits on the far side. as the
nigh goes on the crowd thins as people go away to
go and sleep. i think she asked for the time and
we ended up talking all through the night. turns
out she was checking out colleges and is a very
awesome person who has accomplished many
things back at la jolla high, incluing being the only
lacross player that i have ever meet and being the
editor of her school newspaper. though we
excanged emails i managed to misplace it before i
get home 2 months later.
more than a year later i find it again and we start to
talk. i learn lots of things about leeanne, and they
are all good. we've managed to hang out a few
times and talk many times. she is a very kind
person who cares very much about her sister. one
of the few people who i feel comfortable talking to
about anything, i think it is because she gives off a
'i care' kinda vibe, instead of the fakeness of the
rest of the world. she is opionated, and in the good
way. i would be more than confident in giving her
a 'two thumbs up'.
