        kidding (coz i retired already jk =P)

        really ying! =P Ah Chun is an extremely
        funny (in "THAT" sense), yet caring
        guy! He seems to know the perfect thing
        to say at the perfect moment, no matter
        in what sense. He also understands
        people very well without much words
        being said. An exceptionally
        intelligent, hardworking guy too!
        haha..He's like a super adaptor! ooops,
        did I say that? Just kidding!! but hell

        Music, music and music are always amazing things. Once you love it, it may last for the whole life.

        Jazz was originated from New Orleans. Today, there are many styles for jazz, from basic blues and ragtime through new orleans and dixieland, swing and mainstream. What is astonishing is not that Jazz has taken so many forms, but that each form has been retained its own special characteristics. Listening to jazz is an enjoyment, and it takes only open ears and an open mind to appreciate all the delights. During the performance, players will use different types of musical instruments, for example, drums, piano, bass, saxophone, brass, and of course, not musical instruments, human voice. Generally speaking, there would be a part solo, an improvised passage of a song performed by a single performer. Usually, the soloist stands up during the solo.

        The American civil war was fought in the north america from 1861 to 1865 between the Union and confederate states of America. After the war, African American music grew rapidly. The availability of musical instruments gave birth to the basic roots of Jazz. The root of jazz is the blues which was the folk music of African slaves in the U.S. south and their descendants long time ago. It heavily influenced by western african cultural and musical traditions that evolved as black musicians migrated to the cities. Moreover, in the city, for example new orleans, where there were so many European immigrants, jazz was influenced by European music as well.

        You may be surprised that this seemingly simple form of music leads to almost infinite variation. The blues has been a significant part of every Jazz style. Simply explained, there are notes of a scale played or sung a quarter or half tone flat. By flattening the note, a melancholy feeling can deliver to the music and to the listeners.
