"Kids today. They have no sense of shame. They have no sense of privacy. They are show-offs, fame whores, pornographic little loons who post thier diaries, phone numbers, their stupid poetry online."
Friendster is crap now... I'm in the process of migrating my blog to a new site and will close up shop here ASAP.
I am a subjunctive historian of my life, but try not to get tied up in the "what if." Moving forward while enjoying now is the hardest. I'm becoming a workaholic party animal since my move to NYC. Former sleeper, I now recharge my life force one vacation, conversation, excursion at a time. In SF I was a bit apathetic and detached, but feel quite revived in my new city. I'm enjoying circling back with all my friends from former lives and meeting new ones.
Written in SF early 06... a time capsul of sorts:
It is dangerous to be sincere unless you are also stupid - George Bernard Shaw
I used to much more sincere and outgoing, but have found that to be ultimately disappointing. I still am sincere, but am much more reserved and dont throw myself out there for everyone to see. The best thing in the world is someone who realizes this on their own. I don't build a wall around myself to keep people out, I build a wall around myself to see who is astute and willing enough to climb it. I am tired of putting energy into people who aren't willing to give back. All relationship are somehow rooted in friendship, and all friendships are rooted in reciprocity. This is why the wall is necessary. Then again, I'm always looking for that wrecking ball of a guy who says, fuck going over the wall I'm goign to break that down. Strong personality anyone?
"Kids today. They have no sense of shame. They have no sense of privacy. They are show-offs, fame whores, pornographic little looks who post thier diaries, phone numbers, thir stupid poetry - for God's sake their dirty photos! - online."
We have virtual friends instead of real ones. We talk in illiterate instant messsages. We are only interested in attention, but yet have zero attention span, flitting like hummingbirds from one virtual stage to another.

I've lost many friends throughout the years. Some because of illness, some because of the inability to cross the street.
Oh you! I spend one night hanging out with you during your week stay. That's definitely not enough. When I go to NYC, you'll be sick of me. btw,
love your photoshoping skills!
i live in new york city. it's arguably
the busiest, most exciting place in the
world at any time in history. it's
funny though--the best two weeks i've
ever spent here were when a very special
part of san francisco came and lived
with me.
