Glen consistently takes home my prize
for most fascinating person on the
planet. He's the god of dexterity, the
tamer of shrews, and the alpha
quantifier of the intangible. His quirk
factor runs screaming off the charts.
He has a way of enunciating hard
consonants and making them echo that
makes me tingle with pleasure.
I've never met anyone who has made me
contradict my personal preferences to
such a degree. I hate the phone. My
first phone conversation with Glen
lasted 7 hours. I like tidiness. Order
isn't exactly a driving force in Glen's
life, but he has found a way to make
his messes seem charming. Hippy jam
bands once made me retch. But somehow,
they're beginning to make sense to me
now. He's pretty much Svengali Lite.
Glen blows most men out of the water
with his wit, sensitivity,
intelligence, and steadfast talents.
But paradoxically, I've never met a man
who could single-handedly say the most
inappropriate thing at a tender moment
or laugh at the exact worst time. He
has a strange gift.
stuff, but mostly that I miss him. Of
course, ours has usually been a long
distance relationship, due to my
fondness for marrying the wrong people
and my wanderlust. But Glen has always
been where I could find him when I
really needed a sympathetic ear to
commiserate with. If we'd ever gotten
together, he'd be the only ex-
boyfriend I would still be friends
with. He's just that kinda guy. He's
funny, but in a wonderfully subtle
way. He's non-judgemental, open-
minded, and a whole bunch of other
hyphenated words. He can talk a mean
Schaupenhauer, play a wicked game of
Scrabble, and he has great taste in
art, especially his own. He's the
godfather of my little girl and it's a
privelige just to know him. I miss
you, Glen.
lovers because he's probably
listened to everything you've listened
to and then some. I have fun
non-alcoholic times with Glen, which
is something you cannot say for
everybody.... sweet. I think he has a
WOODY ALLEN complex but that
makes him all the more interesting.
We saw Tom Robbins together. And
we both like books. So I like him.
honest and kind peoples that I've ever
had the pleasure to have met.
Also plays a MEAN e-bo!!
guitar player! Let Glen pick up his
axe and he'll rock your world making
up flawless leads on the spot with
tones crafted to perfection. How he
does it who knows, but Glen is one
cool dude with a very refined taste in
music.
