years? Six years? We've known
each other awhile. Cat is one of the
most incredible people I have ever
known. Loyal to a fault, sweet, good-
hearted, smart as hell, and she can
always be counted on to make me
crack up at a moment's notice. I
have had the privelege of watching
her transform herself and take
control of her life over the last few
years like no one I have ever
known. She is an inspiration to us
all and someone I feel honored to
call friend.

servant of the orishas and nkisis. She
is sweet like Mama Oshun with the

unpredictable, multitangible material
that always feels good going down. my
fondest memory of her is captured from
a six-hour period wherein I made tears
from rain, she made laughter from
tears, and we both made tea from
laughter. we then found a hammer and
discovered new smashscan procedures of
lucite and glass scarmapping. the
twofold result of this digitalprimitive
collaboration was one of the most
beautiful works I've ever co-
controlled, and the realization that
once-were strangers can sometimes stir
honey into bitter tea better than
anybody. behind her impish irises,
catherine carries a truly powerful
understanding of Love. thank you for
helping me grow.

your voice. I miss the days that I could walk
down the hall in the Crack House and knock
on your door. You are so hot- coy as a cat,
cool kitten, keep strong and sweet as I know
you are.
friendship as one of my most honored
posessions. She has both taught me
much and, I hope, allowed me to
teach. Though our journeys may lead
us in different directions, our
