      • Erkki is a cool cousin. He's really smart. He reminds me of my dad. He could be our generation's family historian. I have to say he's my daughter's favorite uncle (ha, ha).

      • Erkki is my hero. Once in 1999 I was
        having a bad night, following a bad
        day, etc., and I convinced myself that
        I would feel better if I had a caramel
        machiato. Unfortunately I was on RA
        duty at the time so I couldn't leave
        my room. I called Erkki, prepared to
        beg or bribe him into going to
        Starbucks for me. It turns out I
        didn't have to do either; he brought
        me a caramel machiato and cheered me
        up just because he could. And then I
        decided to forgive him for that thing
        he said to me back in 1996 and we've
        been friends ever since. Can't wait to
        hang out with you, Erkki!

      • I lived with this guy for over 3yrs. We
        were like bros! if u ever go to his
        house and look at their albums from '87
        to around '90 and ask who the extra kid
        is with F.O.B. hair...that's me! San
        Diego, Arizona, San Francisco...Erkki's
        parents took me along like i was one of
        their own. They even got mad at me like
        one of their own due to me showing
        Erkki's dad that he was #1 with the
        wrong finger(thanks for ratting me out
        to your dad, Erkki!). We don't see each
        other often, but when we do...it's fun
        looking back at the good ol days!

        all my cousin, i never really talked
        to erkki due to my shyness. d first
        time we ever really got to talk was
        when i went to kali in the fall of 00.
        i was at uci w/ my best friend so we
        looked him up and hunted him down.
        he'z a great role model for all of d
        younger INO cousins b/c he knows so
        much about our family history. im
        still waiting 4 my lesson! he'z
        probably one of d smartest peepz that
        i kno!! he'z koo, c u in d PI!!!

        american citizen testi (that's why
        this is a special one!)..saw him again
        last summer (spring in the US) when i
        attended a conference in sanfo (tnx
        for the mexican food!luvd it!).i
        visited his and jordan's place (pretty
        much an all-guy's place...spic n span?
        hehe!)i'm gonna see him and all the
        tolentinos in june.can't wait for that!
