roxy..and it was the best night EVER!
I will never forget what an amazing
show he put on. he's such a good
songwriter...how do you come up
with those words dude?? and..
congratulations on getting married to
"lizzy"!!! thats the most romantic thing
ever!
so the first time i ever met the lovely
BK was back in his radish days. he
sang "brandy" by the looking glass to
me. which was kinda perfect since
that's my name. it was cute. he's been
so wonderful every time i've seen him
and i can't wait for him to come back
to dallas. only this time, try not to
play galaxy in the middle of the
summer. because man, that was a hot
show. yay to you and liz, too! she's a
sweetie! <3 brandy
I first met Ben when our bands toured
together as a part of the 1997
Lollapalooza tour.He was just 16 years
old and fronting the band Radish (i was
in the band summercamp).We didn't know
what to expect,and had never heard them
before.Well,they turned out to be
great,and Ben turned out to be the
nicest,coolest kid and an instant
friend.We had a blast on that
tour,watching eachother play every
day,going to watch TOOL and Snoop
Dog,riding rollercoasters(the dangler!)
and all types of crazieness.So,now Ben
has taken it to the next level and is
doing his solo thing.I've watched him
grow through his music.Hhis songwriting
is top notch,and I consider him one of
the best artists out there.Anyone know
how he coined the term "satchel purge"?
Yeah,it was hanging out with us
California guys...He loves our
vocabulary! I'll never forget the 16
year old Ben,yelling at us in a Dallas
accent as his van takes off...PERMA-
STOKE DUDE!!!
