I go to Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. I'm taking the semster off, writing, painting, doing yoga, meditating, running, and taking care of myself. I'm in the middle of a large growth process and I need to focus on myself and internal factors before I allow myself to become external again.

I'm from San Francisco, born n raised.

I've spent four years now, studying the scope of human trafficking across the United States. I've worked in San Francisco's city hall as well as within nonprofit organizations. I plan to be a photojournalist of humanitarian crises. What I am absolutely interested in right now is creating awareness in the United States about what goes on IN the UNITED STATES. I would love to expose americans to the horrors of the world around us, but first we need to see the fallicies which exist within our country's lines.

I'm rambling. Just know this: there are genocides that are occurring that we, as the public, don't know about. There are holocausts outside the Jewish holocaust. There are prisoners with no medical experience operating on other prisoners within our system. We perpetuate abuses within our borders, not just without. We have scant laws to protect the children of America. We have scant laws to protect the abused of America. We are destroying one another with unattainable images of beauty, flashing lights, flashing diamonds, emphasizing a consumer culture rather than a culture of community and respect. We inundate everything with foul chemicals in order to 'make food taste/look better.' We feed our animals pieces of other animals.. sick animals, diseased animals, with no regard to the consumer... so long as we get paid and they get their meat cheap.
