Although I've only just met her, I know this much to be true: Never before have I met someone who so totally embodies the phrase "she owns the room". No wonder so many fall starry eyed before her feet..... or cower fearfully in her wake. ;o)

Katherine would fix the world were there
more of her. Sadness in all the forms
you can imagine would be extinguished by
her inexhaustible desire to make

read a great description that reminded me of
her: Her sweet mocking mouth had one kiss
on it that Wendy could never get, though there
it was, perfectly conspicuous in the right-hand
corner....she would piroutte so wildly that all
you could see of her was the kiss, and then if
you had dashed at her you might have got it.

Not just the depressing emotions, but some
of the ebullient ones as well. Good and bad.
Happy and sad. Hefty and Glad-- Wait a
minute. Those are trash bags. I don't lean
on Katherine for trash bags. But if I needed
a trash bag, I'm sure Katherine would give
me one. She's that good a friend.
