inadvertently got me together with my
longtime one & only, but that's just
the tip of the iceberg. i knew her when
her fragrance was Body Shop dewberry,
when smoke & drink were foreign,
untried substances. before & after she
cracks me up like nobody's biz, & is a
dear, beloved friend always
stasia is one cool girl. i remember
my first intro to her world-picture
it...cubicles ALL around, ceiling REAL
low, michelle in a corner working for
nothing. and then there was stas in a
corner-on the phone talking politics
with a friend, sitting low in that
damn awful seat/desk, playing some
chill song on her radio. before i
knew it, i was getting paid, engaging
in music and having laughs everday,
monday-friday. we are the lunch bunch-
true blue, duane reade hit em ups.
