Pada awalnya, band ini punya beberapa nama, yaitu Adelita dan AvecGrey dikarenakan pergantian beberapa personilnya, dan atas dasar rekomendasi dari teman-teman band kami, kata "ADRENALINE" digunakan untuk sebuah nama.

Adrenaline resmi terbentuk pada tanggal 20 Desember 2002.

Adrenaline diambil dari istilah yang mengungkapkan emosi, kesedihan kesenangan, dan kegembiraan serta semangat ataupun keberanian, dan itu semua kami tumpahkan dalam hasil karya kami.

Musik yang kami ciptakan adalah, musik yang kental dengan nuansa distorsi yang dikombinasikan dengan sentuhan modern rock dan pop serta easy listening agar mudah untuk diingat. Gabungan musik yang penuh dengan distorsi dengan suara vokal yang feminin adalah menjadi kekuatan musik kami.

Adrenaline juga telah diikutkan dalam album kompilasi indie "Persembahanku" dengan single hits "K.C.I (Karunia Cinta Illahi)" Album ini di launching di Java Cafe Jogjakarta pada tanggal 10 juli 2005.
