You'll never guess who I was with last night. Bayan! Haha. I have chismis... that'll have to be thru e-mail.
But anyways, it was fab hanging out with everyone when you were here. It was like we were grade 4/5 again! I don't think anything (save for waist lines) changed. I have no words for whatever cosmic bond that ties us CL kids together.

music factory-like a vivid
flashback sequence i saw us spending
days and days "practicing for a
performance" sa COL ages ago...
couldn't help but smile...you were the
first person who came to mind... such a
coincidence,
it must've been a sign...then i
realized na malapit na pala birthday
mo... hay naku you don't know how much
useless information on you that i have
on my head.. i even remember places,
dates, names, details -- like the fact
that you had your first kiss inside a
movie theater while watching the film
RICOCHET (with Randy?)...you are such a
huge part of my childhood kasama si
petite, monique, ivy, via, laya, lea- i
know we haven't been in touch- heck, we
haven't seen each other for over a
decade- but you're always in my sphere
of consciousness... hugs to you and
keahi...
last saw Charmaine. But I have enough
memories to last until the next time we
meet again (probably this year?)
Everytime I see a can of aquanet, I
remember her and her long thick hair.
She would always wear her bangs about a
foot high and very stiff. How could I
forget her collection of Sweet Valley
Twins, SVHigh and SVU? I used to borrow
her books (which she eventually gave
me). Even more memorable were her green
jokes. I can never forget when she
farted really loud during a wake that
we attended. I could go on and on about
how I remember Charmaine when we were
still kids. I know this sounds cliche,
but she's a great friend who I really
miss. Hurry home, girl! we have a lot
of catching up to do =)
she'll never forgive me for blurting
that out in public (wait, this is still
subject for approval right?)..hehehehe
anyway, it's been so long since we've
actually talked. in fact, i still owe
her a complete update on what i've been
up to the last 10 years or so! yep, we
were together in GRADESCHOOL. WAAAAY
BACK when i was 50 pounds lightest and
she was still here in the philippines.
i miss her laugh and the practical
jokes she used to pull in the
classroom. i still haven't paid her
back from the last one she pulled on
me. it was because of her and my
cousins that i got my first kiss. WAAAH!
(betcha don't remember that, huh?!:)
they held me down!!! meanie! hwehehehe!
the only thing i regret is not having
more memries of her and not having as
strong a bond as i would've liked with
her. she's a great person, a really
cool mom, warm, loving and caring no
matter what anyone says!

down home Martha Stuart in hiding (damn
can she get creative!!), a chef, and
above it all--a heart of GOLD, or should
I say PLATINUM (you've been upgraded) I
totally meant it when I told Joey he was
lucky to have her and to never let her
go. She is so down to earth and you
would never, EVER hear her say one bad
word about anyone or anything. I'm
lucky to have her as one of my
family/friends. We're all just lucky we
can get together every now & then for
our unforgettable and eventful board
game nights, and decent attempts at
mommies night outs that end up with us
(Char, Maya & me) driving around looking
for that damn club only to end up eating
at Denny's or Carrow's. Nonethless, I
love this girl.
