Kalag was formed in Cebu City on December 21, 2007. We are influenced by bands such as Destruction, Sodom, Venom, Bathory, Possessed, Death, Slayer, Behemoth, Hypocrisy, Deicide and Decapitated. Within days the band, consisting of Vermin (bass/vocals), Ed (guitars), JJ (Vocals) and Sanctus (drums), had been named KALAG after the Souls deity..
