      • Upon first experiencing THE DETHOLZ
        in a small, smoggy town in Wisconsin, I
        followed them helplessly to Wheaton,
        Illinois. There I was witness to the
        musical finery of an opening band led by
        Mr. Guillaume Odendaal, Farmington
        High School class of 1999, who held first
        chair in our orchestra at the stand I
        inherited the following year. I took this as
        a sign from the heavens and began my
        new life as a DETHOLZ devotee,
        eventually making my mendicant way to
        Hamtramck, on the outskirts of rusty
        Detroit. Who was I to encounter there but
        a Mr. Drew DeOrio, who had played
        Perseus to my Medusa in high school --
        and with an obscure ex-boyfriend of
        mine in tow to boot?! Then I learned that
        a member of THE DETHOLZ used to
        babysit for Drew! Moral? THE
        DETHOLZ ARE MY DESTINY. Please
        consider a 2005 Tour d'Anatolia.
