About Me:
I'm an earnest, thoughtful, friendly guy. Several of my likes are spelled out above. I'm also into some more obscure pastimes. Why don't they ask what your favorite board, card or video games are? At any rate, I'm into games that require a fair amount of thought, like Warcraft III, Master of Orion 2, Puerto Rico, San Juan, Settlers of Catan, St Petersburg, Tichu, Twilight Imperium, Das Zepter von Zavandor, and many others. Generally I'm into building/improving/managing games.
I'm an athletic dilettante. The only team ball sport I've enjoyed is soccer. I'm not all that great at it, but I enjoy it nontheless. I'm pretty good at swimming, but not as into it as I used to be. I started picking up gymnastics as a hobby a couple years ago, again, no great shakes, but mucho fun (and occasionally damaging). I like inline skating & biking, even if they are impossible (or at least not-very-enjoyable) for several months of the year here in IL. I've occasionally had a serious gym habit, but usually not when as overcommitted as I currently am.
I read, largely social commentary and scifi/fantasy. I cook. I travel (mostly to see friends). I have yet to leave the continent, but I will do so before I turn 30 (clock is ticking).

Who I Want to Meet:
Dorks. Supportive, playful and intellectually inclined are important. some competitiveness okay. Ambition and environmental consciousness desired. Fondness for scifi, comic books, strategy and/or roleplaying games (board, tabletop, and/or computer), familiarity with computers, particularly open source, also pluses.
For dating purposes, see above, plus: Articulate, gentle and sensitive strongly preferred. Endearing awkardness a plus. On again/off again or more frequent gym habit also preferred.

never actually see him. we did
dinner once. i think he threw a fork.
he's a nice guy who's kind to animals
and some small children. alright,
fine.. i'm just bored at work and
testimonializing...
cannot say I know him well but... oh
guys he seems to be such a great guy!
He is kind and goodhearthed, fun and
respectful, entrataining and smart. I
really like him so far. I hope I am
gonna get to know him better!
which means I remember the wavy hair, the
cloak, living with Andrea May She Rot In Hell
Ward, Motorola, the succession of ever-
changing career goals and short/medium/long
range plans, and through it all, the unfaltering
moral support he never hesitated to provide.
and doesn't let go. He's cuddly and
full of wacky notions. Someone needs
to stop putting speed into his orange
juice, though.
forever. He's been a great friend, and
we even survived living together for a
year (quite well, I might add). His
unique ways always spice things up,
even if he only eats bland food. :)
cruddy picture shows - and _why are
you wearing a shirt?
Mario Cart. He's terrible at that game.
