Tina, Pooky Al, Patrick (R.I.P) & Rania
and now Daysun, Kimmy, SkidMark, Nancy,
Arlo, STEPH, Helen, Eve (who didn't
recognize me on the porch of the
Mineshaft, June `03). Iris helped get
me a job for American Spirit
cigarettes; and then left the company!
(Went to Wild Oats from there?) Iris
has moved many and also moved to Nak Nu
Nu and Tha Musemeants. All who've been
omitted, mea culpa, it's 4 a.m. Iris
has always loved music and moving and
fun. She's just the kinda good friend
who'll leave the enhightened Bay Area
for the traveling of all the way to
li'l Bisbee, a hilltown on the Arizona
side of the Mexican border, just to
visit our mutual pal, Bernadette. Next
Halloween, Iris, I'll be about and
it'll be wild. Don't let her fool you;
her innocence'z been plucked from her
booty: I had her playing golf here...
Also, in case he wants someone to
blame, I'M the one who turned her on to
Jonathan Richman... `Love it if I
could get a hold of Nancy or Arlo or
Steph or Eve. Pooky peruses Bisbee,

She's a cutie and a sweetheart all
wrapped up in one. Her smile and laugh
do go together like chocolate and
peanut butter. And she is just a damn
nice person. I can't figure out how one
can be so naughty yet so nice....
is also jewish, and she's very pleased
about that. She really cracks me up,
or at least gets me to chuckle
spontaneously and involuntarily. I
hope she likes me.
I appreciate her more than I think she
realizes, or maybe she already
realizes it, and is very afraid. Or
maybe she's afraid that I'm going to
put her best friend Bunny in my back
pocket and steal her away with me to
south of the border. Maybe she has no
fear of me at all. She's a fun,
complex, gorgeous, charismatic,
naughty little singer, and I hope I
never live to truly understand her.
