East coast born 'n bred, followed a weird path that landed
me in SF for 8 years(mining, oil and gas, living in Russia,
johns hopkins School of Advanced int'l Studies MA, Colorado
School of mines MS) until October (2003). I now live in Moscow, working in Capital Markets for Cushman & Wakefield. I'm here for now and no specific plans for returning but know I will eventually. It's hard to imagine living through more than 3 winters here.

I loved San Francisco but my biggest complaint was that the
flow of time without seasons made time fly too fast.
Internet work derailed an otherwise straightforward
resources / finance career. I enjoyed being involved in my
community and enjoy writing for my local paper - The North
Beach Journal. I like to write commemorative raps, spoofs
or haikus after fun weekends with friends. "Mark (Sherman) invited
me to Friendstah cuz he thinks I'll be a spinstah";

Reacquaint with old friends in the US, with old friends who come Moscow-way, with new friends in Moscow / Europe. The very few athlete enthusiasts (cycling, x-c skiing) in Russia
