About Me:
My head can be a scary place to be sometimes. I don't go in there without a flashlight and a gun.
I'm a student again, which I'm no longer excited about, working for a broadway production company, doing the gym and nutrition thing, and working the spiritual side of things out in church basements and grade school cafeterias. Just the way I'd want it.
When I've got time, I'm a seeker of fun and mischief but no longer into trouble, because trouble's more trouble than it's worth. I'm a good friend. I'm a good lover, devoted and true, but I'm an even better top half of a chicken fight. :-D Got a pool? I do.
I love horror movies, mr. brightside, oatmeal, song to the siren (robert plant's version), running into people I know on the street and having the time to stop and talk to them for a few minutes (as long as they aren't ex's), and I love going to see live music. Over the Rhine (which is renewing my faith in creatures spawned of ohio more and more every day), Antony and the Johnsons, Tori Amos, Garbage Margaret Cho, Phantom Planet, The Faint/Bright Eyes, Liza Minnelli (IN CONEY ISLAND!), the killers/louis xiv, Green Day, RHCP, SNOOP, cocorosie are recent shows I've been to. Were you there? hit me up, let's compare notes and see if we cruised each other while waiting for the opening act to finish up already.
the killers, nikka costa in september. nada surf in october. NiN and Gwen in November. Fiona and Goldfrapp in December. Nada Surf in March.
Point of interest... I just got my left nipple pierced. It was a rash decision, yeah, but it's a daily reminder that the next time I want to do something dramatic, I should call someone and not run to my piercing woman. If you wanna get something pierced, though, let me know, my girl's clean, reliable and gives me a sweet discount.
Been seeing a lot more theatre because of my job. It's good stuff. Go see dog sees god.

Who I Want to Meet:
I love the friends I already have and especially like getting in contact with the ones that slipped by. I like when folks know how to be simple and how to be complicated and know when each is appropriate.
I was upstate with a friend of mine for labor day weekend. Like a good little homo, I went antiquing and came across one of the wisest jewish moms I've ever heard... She seemed cool, honest, and totally sincere... choice tidbits passed onto her four year old boy...
"Don't touch those, bubbelah, they're glass and if they break you'll have to pay for them. They're salt and pepper shakers, sometimes you keep them on a table and use them. With the others-- well, old ladies like to collect them and put them up on shelves. Those are called chachkis."
In reference to a painting for sale...
"Those are the indians, yes, I see the arrows. They're hunting, but they only killed to get what they needed to survive. Not like the cowboys."

have a good time. He's respectful,
honest, funny, and when you talk you
know he's really listening. He calls
bullshit like he sees it, and he's got a
laugh that makes you laugh too. And
he's not afraid of the good old dick &
fart jokes.
still keep in touch with. He's one of the few
people that knows how to call me on my shit in
the most constructive of ways. He's one of the
few people who is still supportive and loving after
doing so. He's one of the few people who felt like
he was only a few feet away from me over the
airwaves while I was battling it out during tough
times on the border. He's the only person who's
ever called me out of the blue and said, "Hey do
you wanna go see Aerosmith tonight?" And then
loaned me the twenty extra bucks I needed for
the ticket. Oh Brian. Brian Brian Brian.
Freshman year we had to do these "crossings."
And the first crossing I remember was with Brian.
He was wearing glasses. I love this young man.
Truly.

knows how to have a good time. So many
wonderful memories, so little time. He warms your
heart and knows how to get down and dirty on the
dance floor. I am soooo grateful to have him in
my life.
I love this boy so much. He's a good
guy and he's going to be a very famous
writer someday. He already has such an
incredible start and I can't wait for
the opportunity say I knew him when.
It's been an honor and a pleasure
watching him grow for the past few
years and I can't help but smile to
think of what he will become.
