In mid-year of 1999 Mike Browning (Drums, Vocals), Richard Bateman (Bass), and Gino Marino (Guitar), all of the first original lineup of Nocturnus in 1987 re-formed as NOCTURNUS A.D. with Mike Walkowski on Guitar replacing the only other original member from 1987 Vincent Crowley (now in Acheron (US))
After Death has been together since 1999 with many different lineups. Mike Browning (ex Morbid Angel, Nocturnus and Acheron) vocalist and drummer is the Axle of The Wheel of After Death. The idea behind this entity is to convey my Occult learnings to the public via my Musick, and like life, After Death is an open book always changing page to page. If you view my history in the Musickal work that I have done, a Path can clearly be seen through my lyrics of my Occult studies and progress. In 2006 after a 2 year hiatus After Death is back more brutal than ever with a whole new lineup! And a new demo called Secret Lords of The Chamber Below.
After Death has currently signed a deal with Iron Pegasus Records to release all of their demos on 1 disc, 2 of the demos have been remixed and new things were added that have never before been released specifically for this disc! And there will also be a vinyl version with some other unreleased material on it as well. The Cd will contain the demos from the newest to the oldest and because of this backwards order the CD will be appropriately titled "Retronomicon".
AFTER DEATH, the Tampa-based band featuring former MORBID ANGEL, NOCTURNUS and ACHERON drummer/vocalist Mike Browning, has just released their full length CD, "Retronomicon" through Iron Pegasus Records on 07/07/07. Retronomicon is a journey from the present to the beginning of AFTER DEATH in a compilation of four studio recordings ranging from the latest 2006 demo, Secret Lords of the Chamber Below, with unreleased remixed and mastered versions of all four songs, all the way to the unreleased 2000 ep, Vibrations. That's over 70 minutes of AFTER DEATH history.
Iron Pegasus Records did a superb job on the CD with a 16 page color booklet, professional layout and timely release. There are even two different versions of the graphics printed on the CD's for all of you collectors.

AFTER DEATH solidifies its lineup with their newest member, Dave Sawyer. Dave is a very seasoned guitarist who has played in many Tampa bands including: Contorted, Eulogy and The Entity. Dave will prove to be a very valuable asset to AFTER DEATH and help take AFTER DEATH to the level of musicianship that is expected by fans of Mike Browning.
DISASTERPEACE To Guest On The Maximum Metal Show (As quoted from Bravewords.com) Posted on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 23:54:24 EST Tampa Bay's home of heavy metal, The State Theatre in downtown St. Petersburg FL, presents it's first installment of The Maximum Metal Show on Friday, May 9th. This periodic metal show will feature new national metal acts and the first one is power packed with some big names. DISASTERPEACE headlines this event and is the brainchild of Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY) and Pete Blakk (ex-KING DIAMOND) and also features Hal Patino on bass from King Diamond.
