A friend once told me that if I slowed down anymore I'd be dead. I think she meant I was easy-going. I'm too empathetic for my own good. I cried over the kidnapped penguin which leads me to my love of all things animal and frustration with most of the humans on this planet, especially the ones in power. I'm realizing you don't truly know yourself until you're a parent and you come to understand your own parents in a new light. I'll always opt to walk somewhere rather than take a car (within reason). I desperately wish I was more musical. I have amazing friends and should tell them more often. There's no one else in the world like my family and I mean that in the best of ways. I'm content as long as I have a book with me.

The funny yet compassionate, kind, and intelligent ones; those who capture the spider and release it outside instead of flushing it down the toilet; the people who gaze at a night sky and dream of parallel universes; people who think outside the box; people who'd rather shut the tv off and have a conversation; those who aren't too pig-headed to ask for directions, anyone who can make me laugh so hard I pee myself; people who notice and appreciate the small stuff.
