spent many a night in the 4656 Louisiana
guest room. This room has refinished
hardwood floors, gets lots of light and
features a stellar portrait of zombie jesus.
(yes, there were also a lot of kinky sex
noises, but neither James nor I had
anything to do with that) James has
consistantly left the guest room in
immacualte condition. there's a lot you
can say about a man like that, but I'm not
going to say any of it. what I am going to
say is, where's my testimonial, you
ingrate?
this new white trash glamour shot. Wow
James, nice handlebar...mustache.
even though I've never met her. I just
love her name. But this is about
James. If ever I have a book, James
will definitely design it. He'll most
likely use Palatino typeface, and I'd
make him use a bird on the cover.
ridiculously LARGE TALONS. Cue the
dance routine, first move: the bow and
arrow. Who gave you that fabulous
haricut? Oh that's my favorite too,
except when it's not. James sing me
your new song. "Everything looks
perfect from far away. Come down
now. But we'll stay."
"ping." And it was James. And then,
next thing everyone knew, the pinging
was all around, we were surrounded
by it, getting pinged ourselves, in
ways we never thought possible.
Then it was time for revenge. So we
built a fake James, put it up on top of
a medium-sized building, and hoped
that it would attract the pings.
Unfortunately, this new fake James
merely made the real James more
upset, so instead of pings, dings
started accumulating and then falling
from the sky. And James saw this.
And he knew that it was good. And
then he rested.
his knowledge. Does that make me a
stalker? He has two cats and so do I.
I like guys that like cats. James has
good taste in music, and he's cooler
than me becuase he's met David Berman
in person and I haven't. His poetry is
wonderous, and lets not forget about
his ridiculous sentence structure -
he might as well be an architect.
Someday, if I ever meet him in person,
I'd like him to wear those glasses and
I'll steal them.
eating lunch with you on saturdays. and
THAT is a short and sweet testimonial.
cool. wanna come over and burn CDs and
eat popcorn and drink beer? rad. ok, see
you in three minutes.......
(propnounced Metz, dammit!) would quite
possibly reside in the the 36th chamber. This
chamber would have nice big closets (fully
stocked), a nice audio system, some records,
and a couple bottles of liquor. We'd drink,
talk poetry, and possibly leave better people.
