I enjoy baseball games, jazz clubs, good food, good vodka, good beer, long walks (by the beach :-)), and above all, good company. I laugh a lot, I smile a lot, and I try to be sincere.
I'm tired of the Cubs, but I never tire of hating the Yankees.

Why didn't you ever warn me that fisrt year history grad student life would suck. Sigh...

impossible, you know? Seriously.

dudes. Anyone who has a conversation
with him knows that. Senior year, we
played a lot of handball and he was
Krupke and that was all great. But the
first time we really became close
friends was in Senegal when, after a
very intense day at the Point of No
Return, David dropped the intellectual
veneer and revealed it all. This man is
a giant beating heart, full of
terrifying and wondrous things. I'm glad
to know him.
cherish every moment we spend together,
whether it's face to face, on the phone
or over emails. In fact, whenever I
start dating a guy, I often ask
myself,"Am I having as much fun hanging
out with this guy as I would, were I
chilling with my man Dave? Do I feel
as relaxed and at ease with myself,
etc." I'm glad that Dave is not gay,
because I would hate to ruin our
friendship by going out and then
breaking up later. So fortunately, we
remain "just friends", and that is just
so cool.
getting plastered on a Wednesday,
grooving to the sounds of Motown or
analyzing ourselves to the point of
absurdity, he's my guy (and the best
babysitter a drunk girl could ever wish
for). I could gush about him for hours,
but save me the time and get to know
this fabulous man for yourself...he's
the best!
