About Me:
I'm an author. I was born in Ohio, and grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, Belmont, Massachusetts, and London, England. While living in Lebanon and England I traveled extensively in the Middle East and Europe, learning enough Arabic and French to get myself into and out of trouble. I went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I earned a B.A. and a J.D. while holding down jobs as a radio DJ, record store sales guy, security guard, bouncer, market researcher, and law clerk. I've practiced law for over twenty years in Tennessee, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, as a trial and corporate attorney, and I'm a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court. A couple years ago, I started writing my debut novel, a thriller titled "Blood of the Moon." I'm proud my first book's being published in October, 2009. Meanwhile, I'm researching and writing my second novel, a thriller set in New Orleans about a badly broken, drug-addicted man seeking redemption through capturing a serial killer who seems increasingly familiar the closer he gets.
