        Needed to update this thing. Not that I read what is in it at an everyday basis. Just needed a change. About me? Nothing spectacular. If you're curious why I have that Status as such, it's because the last woman that I loved deeply died. No way around it. It's just the God awful truth. Am I angry at the world? No, not really. Am I adjusting? Most defitely. Do I compare any woman I meet to her? She wouldn't want that. Am I looking for sympathy? I wouldn't want that.

        What I would want though would be for real people. Not just people asking to be friends so that they have a bigger friend count than anybody they know. I expect a hello every so often. That's not too much to ask, is it?

        Also, I hear that I've got sisters out there. I'd love to meet them. I don't bite. Any sins of our forebears are theirs. Time to strike our own path, I say.

        There. The ball is rolling. It's your turn.

      • Who I Want to Meet:

        Any person who has any sense in their noggin. Had a little bit of a quarrel with a person I didn't know at all. Sorry, but when somebody writes me a message to say that we're friends now, ok? my initial reaction would be: why? were we fighting? I'm not trying to be snide or sarcastic; I've been on this earth long enough that there're probably some people out there that I may have stepped on that I don't even know about.

        So, if you're willing to risk it, send me a note. Let's see where it takes us.

      • andre mischa reminds me of good ol' ateneo. back then, we were worried about g.i. joe figures, a.c.t. practices, and what fun we would have in mr. aguilar's class. that was when soda was sold in litro bottles, and bazooka joe and transformers were in. just goes to show we have gone along way. good to know good friends are still abound even here in maryland! see you around!

      • Well you're still the same old Ambo that I know. Napunta ka lang ng states naging andr ka na. haha! This guy is one of my best buds in college and he still looks pretty much the same to me. Keep working on those muscles myk maybe someday it will form a shape somehow. just maybe. hahaha! misyah!

      • There are many things that I could say about this guy. I have not seen him for years now... he might have changed immensely yet there's one thing I am sure that's left unfazed in him... never mind. Anyway, this guy ALWAYS surprises me...I didn't know he's in the U.S. now, I wasn't aware about his personal life considering the fact that we used to be REALLY close... Time does rob us of many essences about those who are dear to us. Andre...Mischa...Myk... Joshua... whatever it is your name now, thanks for the memories. Till then.

      • The man with many names and a multitude
        of different faces. Andre, Dre, Mike,
        Mikee, Mickey, Mischa and Cleo (pag-
        gabi) are some of his known aliases.
        Mike and I are very close in the core
        barkada. He is my dive buddy of
        choice. I trust my life with this
        f*cker everytime we hit the deep blue.
        Although neither of us wouldn't think
        twice about grabbing a dive knife and
        bleeding the other in order to escape
        the jaws of a bloodthirsty tiger
        shark. Mike has also made it known
        that he is a writer par excellence. A
        storyteller feller with the heart of a
        poet. We share a constant love affair
        for anything and everything Japanese.
        Anime, Manga, Jap Soap Operas, Samurai
        Flicks, Kurosawa Films, Hanzo Swords,
        Good Sushi and Premium Sake are some of
        our few addictions. Currently, he has
        proven to be an important companion
        here in the East Coast where we
        frequent NY's equivalent of Japan Town,
        our beloved St. Mark's Place in the
        Village.
