About Me:
KUMON is a simple, methodical approach to learning. The purpose of KUMON is to provide an effective means to develope the untapped potential of each and every child. A KUMON student will cultivate good study programme, which comes complete with well-structured worksheets and parental involvement of daily bassist. There is no classroom teaching in a KUMON centre. Every student comes to the centre to achieve specific study goals to set the KUMON worksheets. Upon the mastery of the materials, the student is ready to move of the next step of the worksheets. In KUMON, we view education as an ongoing process, and KUMON is not meant to be a "quick-fix" solution. We encourage parents to keep their children enrolled for at least a year before judging the effectiveness of the program. The daily routine of the KUMON programme can be challenging, not just for the students, but for parents as well. Parents need to encourage and cultivate daily study habbits by setting daily KUMOn time for child, and ensure that the worksheets are completed daily. Parents and KUMOn instructors must WORK TOGETHER in order to maximise the child's potential in KUMON.
