      • For nearly five years now, I have
        watched Chris' turntabletop performance
        mature into something nonpareil,
        wonderful- with a calm, knowing
countenance all the while! I am not
        blowing smoke (OK, cigarette smoke
maybe) when I say that there are very
few DJs out and about that can
crossfade from an XIS set without
looking like funnies. If you have not
seen him spin, go check him out!

      • Xis, is in fact as you may have
surmised, cool. This is the first word
I thought of when going to write my
first testimonial, so I am sticking
with it. Cool as in "cool when the
        s***-hits-fan" cool and just
        general "smooth" cool. Quick-witted
        with well-considered thoughts Xis is
one of those friends that you can speak
to or seek advice from and always find
        value in the discussion. Definately
one of those people that you feel lucky
having met and being friends with.

      • hmmm... there's no way i'm going to
beat ydnar's testimonial, so i'll just
say that the first minute i met xis i
knew he was a winner. he's suave but
with a healthy and wonderful side of
dork to keep him real. he's sweet and
considerate, even though he makes fun
of my large head using harsh germanic
phrases. and he's funny as hell and a
great DJ. i suspect he is a CIA
        operative. i love this guy!

      • um, why haven't any chicks stepped up yet to
write about chris? c'mon, people, you know he
doesn't want the first to be me with my
inappropriate ramblings. okay, fine, but i'm
gonna try to keep this concise and suitable for
public viewing. ahem. chris kinda comes off at
first as quietly intimidating/too cool for
school/no access, but then, if you're lucky, he
reveals his secret nerdy side, and then it's like,
whoa. too cute. i used to email chris like mad
when i had a crush on him and was constantly
procrastinating during law school, and he
totally put up with it like a good sport, with
just a bit of teasing. and isn't that a nice thing
to be able to say about a boy repeatedly
        subjected to your unsolicited novellas?
anyway, i wish i knew him better, but even
knowing him glancingly has been swell. ooh,
and have i mentioned what a great pad he
        has? shee-it.
        gabba-tron out.

      • If life were a William Gibson novel, Xis
would be the character hinted at, never
        directly confronted, admired and
unknown. The man behind the curtain with
a quartz business card and an address
consisting soley of a name and a zip
code. But it's not, so rather he's
simply That Guy, the neue hotness, the
homey a brutha calls when in need
indeed. For some porkchops. Wrapped in
bacon, with truffle oil, hold the
relish, extra sauce, with a side of
        beats. Coming soon to
        IronChefDJRevolution VIII!!!

      • Xis is a bad mutha. I've been in a few
tight situations with him and let me
tell you, he can handle himself in a
jam. He let's you know where you stand
right off, and if you talk back,
then "smack", right in the head.
