writing about myself makes me awkwardly self-conscious.

how many facets of myself can i reveal without insinuating that i'm weirder than i already am? i mean, would it be all right for me to tell people how i once kept a candy wrapper from this dude because it was the first time he bought me anything, or does that make me sound pathetically sentimental? should i talk about how i cried my little eyes out when kerchak died in tarzan, or will that make me seem painfully immature and childish? are you supposed to know how i stay up til 6 in the morning just so i can talk to the people i barely talk to anymore, or am i going to look desperately lonely? or how about that time in first grade when i panicked because maria kriselle chavez gibe didn't say she was present when i was checking attendance, or does that create the impression that i'm embarrassingly ditzy? :))

after trying to suck my brain dry for ideas, i decide to go ahead and type it. i really am weird, after all, and sentimental, and childish. but why try making myself sound cooler than i actually am? i'd be stupid to think that i'd actually be able to fool people.

besides, this isn't even news anymore. if you've ever spent some time with me, you get it. i'm just...strange. :)
