figured he's too busy now, going to
harvard or whatever, to have time for a
petty thing like friendster, but
apparently he does because it says his
last login date is 10/15, today. Maybe
he has to write a paper or something.
Anyway, Arto is a smarto. He uses big
words like "yuppify" and "bogart."
It's always fun to hang out with Arto
and to watch him rock out. But beware;
he's a heartbreaker. I know somewhere
there is a large-chested, well-dressed,
educated, witty, non-flip-flop wearing,
Indie-rockin', Armenian chic who is just
waiting for Arto.

when I'm trailed by a pack of thirteen
year olds. A smile and a hug and
suddenly all is calm. I first met Arto
in all of his rock star glory. He
offered me a ride home after one of
Mishima's shows and the several blocks
to my house blurred by in a mad rush of
frenzied motion. (I think that was the
first and last time I've ridden in his
car. ) So that's Arto -- a lovely blend
of chivalry, generosity, and unexpected
excitment. Just remember to fasten
your seatbelts...
