Velocity Flux is a psychedelic trance project formed by Thina Segran. The Velocity Flux Project was founded in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia. Inspiration for their sound can be traced back to musical influences from artists such as: Skazi (Chemical Crew Records) ,Infected Mushroom (BNE/YOYO) Raja Ram (Tips World), Juno Reactor (Creator of Matrix Trilogy Sound Tracks) , Tsuyoshi Suzuki (Matsuri Productions) , Space Tribe, Astrix , Antix , Safi Connection , Electric Universe, Electro Sun , Sesto Sento , Xerox & Illumination , Decoy and many more.

For true electronic music fans, the words Psy or Goa trigger feelings of admiration and excitement. Some may claim that this was when "trance really took off;” Others believe “Psy” and Goa were the inspiration for Psytrance. Velocity Flux can truly claim to have their musical roots in Psy and Goa sounds, both contributing to their unique signature sound.

Velocity Flux’s sound could be defined as Psychedelic Trance with infected Electronic beats, blended with unique Rock influences.


The core of the Velocity Flux productions and live acts has to be its infectious, uplifting energy. Our passion for music and creative energy in the studio is reflected in our music. Our focus is for our audience to reach their personal musical utopia, the ultimate feeling of ecstasy, and to allow them to freely express themselves through dance.
At the moment , Velocity Flux burning up the knobs and faders in Myvibrant Studio in preparation for the new album Mantras release in early 2009.
