How we miss you and your crazy-fun
ways! I will not step foot in Flowers nor
will I smoke a clove cigarette until you
promise to come and visit! And for all
you people in Minneapolis, you better
watch out for this one. She is the kind of
girl you can't help but want to be around,
the life of the party, the center of
attention. Boy do I miss my girl!
the second i sat down next to her she
was talking. at first the conversation
was fascinating. but as the flight
continued, so did the sound of her
voice. midflight i was more fascinated
with the fact that her mouth could move
so rapidly than with what was coming
out of it. i finally tried to get up
and move away from her but i realized
that i was trapped in my seat like a
frightened cornered rabbit. i
wordlessly pushed the call attendent
button but the stewardess only looked
my way and shook her head sadly. she
knew better. she had seen this type of
ticket holder before. by now i had
intimate knowledge of jill's
chiropracter's wife's step-niece's
mortgage payments. i believe that was
the day i taught myself to sleep with
my eyes open. i can still hear the
sound of her voice sometimes late at
night in fits of sleeplessness. don't
ever sit next to this woman on a plane.
