since the first day i met him, when he was just the
nice kid who voluntered to show me around the
'special' classroom on the first day of school. he
helped me off the short bus, fastened my helmet
straps real snug, & then showed me the secret
special handshake (which i never understood cause
i didnt understand what showing my boobies had to
do with handshakes, but i guess thats what made it
a 'secret special' handshake.) oh but we laughed &
laughed. years later i got his back in a knife fight
out back at a def leppard show. 'pour some sugar
on this, muther fucker' i screamed as i pulled clay
onto my huffy handle bars & together we peddled
off to get slurpies & crank.xo.
clay, i was working sound and he
was going to do door. but there was
some snafoo and he didn't show.
apparently he was out ROCKING
HARD AND BEING THE COOLEST
OF THE COOL, as he is wont to do.
but anyway, i met him the next day,
and that was super rad and all, but
i've regretted those lost 24 hrs of
clay-n-ferno time ever since.
in a lot to hear him...it makes me
appreciate his healthy features...he
