About Me:
I grew up in the South and still say ya'll, and have been mocked for saying fixin' to...as in "ya'll I'm fixin' to go to the store, anybody need anything?" But now, NYC guy. I like to eat. I have intentions of doing more yoga. I am trying to be more honest in life. For example when someone asks me if I watch TV, I try now to not respond, "Well, Mcneill-Lehrer, but that's all." The new improved honest me says, "Yes, I watch everything." I have red hair which I used to love/hate as a kid but now I love/hate. Also I had/have a weird desire to be Canadian, left-handed, or in a cast...so I guess that means I need attention? I like reading books, magazines, and catalogs even when I'm not buying anything. I like movies, museums but if I'm completely honest, I sometimes get sleepy mid-museum, but art can move me. Certain songs and chords make my eyes swell up with tears. I've been known to misuse words and idioms. Used the phrase "crocodile tears" wrong until about a week ago. I use dictionary.com and wikipedia...a lot. I will read something on the AP scroll and sometimes try to slip it in to conversation like I know the full story. Beaches/camping/roller coasters (not too big...damn you Nitro!)/Tollhouse cookies/storms/Twizzlers/surprises/spooning/jockstraps...all things I like...in that order.

Who I Want to Meet:
Someone who will spoon me in a jockstrap while feeding me Twizzlers during a storm. Someone who makes me laugh and who laughs at my stupid jokes. Somebody who will let me take a nap...and then make me get up and see the world. Somebody who will dvr tv shows and watch them with me...and then force me to turn off the tv and get up and see the world. Someone who will help with the NY Times crossword, and not judge me for doing the People mag crossword. Communication is good too. Surprise me.
