friend approximately 6.5 minutes after
you meet her. She is the best listener
and giver-of-advice I know, and in a
crisis there's no one else I'd rather
have around. Emily is also incredibly
cute, inside and out -- whether it's
seeing her visibly bounce around with
glee in her seat at a concert when a
song she enjoys starts, or getting a
card from her that she clearly picked
out for you and you alone. Plus, she
quilts, plays clarinet, and once dressed
up for Halloween as a grilled cheese
sandwich. Pretty soon, she'll be the
coolest children's librarian ever (she
gives great book recommendations, by the
way). Everyone should have an Emily in
their life and their circle of friends.
