SMILE! I think I may have a small boy-
crush on this one...handsome,
engaging, well-spoken, cute dresser,
and just an all-around super-chill
dude, Brian is a 'Cape-er' worth
keeping 'round. >>>Boys gather 'round:
this boy is Grade A Prime!<<< Thanks,
buh-dee, for adding me on...=)
him Brain (those who do are lame as
hell but whatever) I call him Mr.
Burns. It all started with the birth
of a rather extraordinary television
series called The Simpsons . It was
an animated comedy based around the
antics of a slow witted family man
named Homer J. Simpson. Everywhere
Homer went hilarity ensued and
laughter abounds, but it was Homer's
boss, Montgomery Burns, who intrigued
me the most. It was on one particular
episode where Mr. Burns is taking a
bath that I first noticed the
similarity. When Montgomery burns
emerged from the luke warm water, in
all of his nude glory, I knew
instantly why it was that I was
inexplicably drawn to this character.
It was all there, every crevice ,
every line, every bone protruding from
the skin in an emaciated and
disturbing way, I had seen all of this
before, but where? I began to wonder
how a cartoon character could parallel
my life in any way, and then it hit
me! I was looking at an exact replica
of one of my dearest friends, it was
none other than Brian. Imagine my
surprise when all of the pieces of
this puzzle finally fell into place.
Mr Burns was Brian, Brian was Mr,
Burns. After this shocking revelation
all of Brian's little personality
quirks suddenly made sense to me.
Brian was always very stingy and tight
fisted with his money. He would always
forget birthdays and he would rarely
ever show up to any kind of party you
were having, unless of course you were
some sort of mere acquaintance. He was
never into music, it was what he
referred to as "Crazy noise that the
kids are into these days. He liked to
go to bed by 7:30pm on school nights,
and every night for that matter. When
he went to the beach he brought along
a metal detector, he used SPF 45 sun
screen and he was never without his
knee high black socks with sandals. He
enjoyed pudding, long bubble baths and
hanging out at home in his bathrobe
and slippers. If I had know at the
time that my friend Brian was a 70-
something year old man things would
have been very different, or maybe
not, who knows really I am friends
with an old guy!
But, in all honesty Brian is
an awesome person. Like most, he had
his awkward period but I am happy to
say that he has come out of that
period and has emerged as someone that
I had never expected. Brian is an
insanely attractive, articulate guy,
who, unlike most, is honest and
genuine. Brian has always been there
for a laugh or to provide a shoulder
to sob on uncontrollably. He is an
awesome friend and an outstanding
human being. He truly is good times
and I love him to death.
there are absolutely no words that can
describe how much Brian means to me and
how much of an impact he has had on my
life. He has become so many things in
my life - from a friend to a true soul
mate. He is one of the VERY few people
who I have felt comfortable seeing the
inner me... all aspects good and bad.
He's seen me at my deepest lows and at
my most joyous highs. I have never met
someone so caring and generous with a
unique combination of quick wit and
sarcasm. Anyone who has the
opportunity to become friends, lovers,
life partners, or simply just to have
met Brian is truly someone who has been
blessed. I treasure Brian with all of
my heart- my life is better with him in
it.
SO yeah.... he's great, I love him, and
if you get to know him you probably
will too... and like Steve said... He's
so damn cute!
