Based in CENTRAL MARKET Kuala Lumpur, this shocking extrovert band is set to bring back the world of 80's-style Heavy Metal in this millenium. Formed in 2005, REVENGE consists of five lads, Ayid in vocals, Apple and Buset in guitars, Arrul in Bass and Wak in drums.



They have produced an EP so far, entitled “Legends of Rock n Roll” (2007). Revenge has their trademark sound, as anyone who has seen them live, or heard their EP or mp3s will testify. Their sound might even be described as a testament to an old school Heavy Metal (Rock Kapak/Rock Kangkang) bands. Some critics have described the band as "New Wave Old British Heavy Metal", others as "Hard Rock", others as "Glam Rock".



Reviewers have made various comparisons as diverse as Loudness, Iron Maiden, KISS, Judas Priest, Black Tide right through to Guns and Roses, Motley Crue to SYJ even..... If you've not heard them, then go to one of the sites that host some of their tracks in mp3 format and judge for yourself!



In 2007, REVENGE was name as one of the best live performances and most exciting bands in ROTTW Music Poll. In the same year, they also won 1st Runner-Ups for Global Battle of Band Challenge (GBOB) Malaysia back in 2007.Throughout their journey, REVENGE has played alongside some of the biggest name in Malaysia’s rock scene, including Wings, MAY, Kristal, XPDC. SYJ, Def-Gab-C, Butterfingers, and became an opening act for one of world’s most influential hardcore band, Caliban. One of the most memorable experiences so far is to feature in the EIGHT (8) edition of undoubtedly Malaysia's biggest music festival, ROCK THE WORLD (2008).



REVENGE has just signed one-album licensing deal in November 2008 with Malaysia’s independent label Gizmo Records, and the debut full album will be released next year. So to all ROCKERS/METALHEADS out there, get ready with your mullet hairdo, rising sun t-shirt, hi-cut sneakers, spandex/ torn tight jeans, huge belt buckle and leather jacket. Hell YEAHHH!!!
