i am never happier than when making rooms full of
8-12 year olds in all shapes, sizes and colors laugh so
hard they fall out of their chairs... teaching them how to
read, and how to love learning. these are my best
skills. if you cut into my veins, you would find that music is my
life's blood. other than that, i try to live each day as
though there is no tomorrow, and to bring as much love
and justice into the world as i can.

must. The first time I met Andrea I
remember being surprised to recieve
such a warm hug from someone I barely
met. I thought "Wow, she is extremely
nice". I was happy to find out that
extremely nice also includes a very
strong, funny, intelligent,
opinionated, and determined person. Her
kindness, patience and optimism make me
feel less cynical. Plus she likes ice
cream and bike rides, I get along with
anyone who likes ice cream and bike
rides.
the Casbah and Andrea showed up with
this sexy red shirt on. I didn't
really know her too well, but for
months after that everybody would come
up to me and say, "Who was that girl
in the red shirt?" It became kind of
the talk of all the lusty boys for
awhile, and since then I've found
Andrea to be an extremely kind,
intelligent, earthy-spiritual,
occasionally crass, politically savvy
conversationalist, who rose to the top
in her teaching and had all the old
teachers coming through her room to
leanr a trick or two... Truly an
innovative thinker and loving person.
