      • Bridget likes puzzles but not so much
games. She sings really well, can
model a kimono, and describe a
        prescriptive grammar. The producers of
        The Amazing Race deprived viewers
everywhere by not accepting her as a
contestant. Luckily I don't have to
        watch TV to know Bridget.

      • The mean world of the West Coast is
        tearing Bridget away from us!
Probably the most fun I ever had in a
theater setting was hanging out with
        Bridget backstage during shows,
        and the caroling parties at
        Christmastime have always been a
blast. I'm going to miss her!

words to paper to pottery! I'll miss
        spontaneous art projects with you...

      • Bridget is brilliant and kind, and
        every Christmas she makes cutout
cookies that are 99% butter. Yum. I
lived with her for 7 years. How's THAT
        for a satisfied customer? I couldn't
ask for a more loyal and caring
        friend.

      • Yeah, she's been a pretty good younger
        sister. A bit of a smarty-pants, what
with that PhD and all. Actually,
she's just a little too good at
*everything*, you know? Ever since I
was a kid, it's been "Bridget this"
and "Bridget that" and "Why can't you
re-invent the future tense" (or sing a
Handel aria, or pick a lock, or bake a
mean madeline, or code a shell script,
        or field-strip an M-16) "like
        Bridget?" Sheesh. No way. It's
impossible. Nobody does it like her.

      • I have never had a boring
        conversation with Bridget. Never. Not
once. Over something like ten years.
        Amazing.
