throwing people together in a less than
subtle manner...it's almost as though a
higher being didn't have the time or
energy to script a convoluted set of
situations and circumstances that would
stimulate such a necessary acquaintance...
Paola and I met in much this manner...She
and a host of associates greeted me in
reception as I started a new job (a job
that thankfully we've both left far,
far behind!) I immediately
thought, "okay, so I know who I'll be
cool with in this asylum......and of
course we were, IMMEDIATELY...and of
course we just happened to live a block
apart...and of course we would need each
other more that summer, than most need
another all their lives long...of course
I would marvel at the looks that she
threw together each day, and she mine...
and of course a bond would be forged
that crazed roommates, new addresses,
lost cell phones, and even ever-turning
tables, could only strengthen...Like a
long lost set of siblings we seem to
find each other time and time again.
Never subtly, our mutual scripts
continue to write us together...
you... you laugh, you dance, you
smile, you cry.. its always nice
talking to you.
so next time we're having a drink on
you, we know what we do haha... don't
loose the beat and its gonna come
right back at you.

were a couple (we look so good
together), but i could never be that
lucky. we still have "our" song, but
instead of being lovers, we are great
friends. paola is so powerful that her
name is sometimes pronounced POW!-la.
she is so sexy and exotic, 2 words come
