I think. I reflect. I'm not afraid of emotions. I recognize that beauty contains ugliness, happiness is often sad, love often equals hate + lust, and that these can be good things when handled properly.

I aim to be critical, engaged, and cynical, so I'm always good for conversation about the state of the world, but I do it all with a good sense of humour, and am just as comfortable talking smack as talking philosophy.

I'm beholden to the idea of passionate love. You know - the Pablo Neruda/Milan Kundera version of it, the one where meeting someone changes everything about your life, not because you needed that person, but because after meeting them you realize that you were supposed to need them. Lately, I've been more prone to the Sartre/de Beauvoir kinds of relationships. It's not a downplay by any means...just the hand I've been dealt.

If you saw me in a bar, I'd be the guy off to the side hanging out, chatting, or on the floor dancing my ass off - not the Kaa the Snake Boy slithering up to everything with legs and a pulse.

I swear like a drunk sailor, I eat REALLY spicy food, and I'll dance til the sun comes up if I catch a groove.
