portrayal of the incredible artist and
subcultural freak icon, jerome caja,
which he did very shortly after jerome
died. it was a heartfelt tribute that
no one else could have pulled off
(having measurements of approximately
29-29-29 helped, of course) I also
think he's the only person to have lip -
synced a Bongwater song at trannyshack
ever. as nice as nice can be--so glad
to see him on friendster after many
years
will ever encounter -- and I don't offer
that comment lightly. The first time I
saw him on-stage, he was exposing
a feral facet that bounced and
exploded far beyond the limits of the
proscenium arch, washing over the
audience with an energy that was
overwhelming.
Through the years, I've witnessed
Fennel's uncanny ability to express
pure beauty in a variety of forms --
jewelry, writing, singing, dancing,
acting. He is a divine force, a bolt of
lightning, a splash of cold water and
a force to be reckoned with. Meet
him, know him -- you'd be lucky to
have him as a friend and an
influence in your life.

Did I say he was my husand?
funkiest and stankiest people I've ever
met in my entire life!! He's an amazing
artist and craftsman, and inspires me
to no end. I've worked with a lot of
big-name performers over the years
(i.e. Karen Finley, Holley Hughes,
Rachel Rosenthal, Spaulding Gray, Blue
Man Group, Annie Sprinkle, etc...to
name a few) and to me Fennel ranks up
there with them all!! He's mesmerizing
on stage. I LOVE working with him on
this journey at Geva, and am so happy
he stanks up my life!
