      • Either sometime during puberty, or
        after we give up smoking pot, we tend
        to forget the magic of wonder. We
        surrender curiosity to complacency and
        learn things based on their potential
        to increase our income. Not Rick. He
        seeks knowledge for spiritual and
        intellectual enrichment while the rest
        of us are often more content in the
        cold comfort of our own ignorance and
        learn on a need to know basis.
        Although he has the mind of a
        scientist, Rick is one of the most
        socially intelligent people I have
        ever known. He is a uniquely gifted
        judge of character, but he is never
        full of judgment. Instead, Rick is
        compassionate, funny, honest, witty
        and replete with empathy. If you're
        lucky, he'll perform the Bohemian
        Rhapsody for you, but otherwise Rick
        is the sort of friend you aim to keep
        forever.

        Rick could come. It was really the
        best show ever. Best Show Ever. And
        Rick got me back with the Johnnie
        Walker...so we're almost even. Another
        20 bottles should do it.

      • Rick-o is my man. I am extremely lucky
        to have him as my friend, because he
        has stood by me at some rather
        troubling times. He has also stood by
        me at some rather wonderful times. It
        takes a fine nature to stand by a
        friend during their failures, but it is
        often harder during their successes. He
        has been both, and that's what makes a
        good friend. Whenever I'm trying,
        whatever I'm trying, he is there... to
        tell me when it sucks.

      • As Rick said - I met him in NYC bar
        where I was sitting with my friend
        Gosia. He came there with his friend
        Ryan. We had a lot of fun together but
        beacuse of them we almost missed...
        our plane to Florida next morning. :-)
        I spent with him few nice evenings in
        NYC (instead of visiting my aunt...)
        When I say I like NYC, I like it
        mostly because of Rick... He is really
        great!!!
        I live far away from NYC but I hope
        I'll meet him again some day...

      • I feel compelled to lead by telling
        everyone that Rick owns a powder blue
        ruffled tuxedo shirt and looks damn
        fine wearing it. We met 4 yrs ago and
        we partied like rock stars in a limo
        headed to the UWS. Talk about
        style!!! Whenever I plan a get-
        together in NYC, I know I can count on
        Rick to bring some of his patented
        brand of sass to the soiree and mix
        things up. Things just aren't same
        without the crew from NYC. I'm hoping
        Rick will spot my distress signal and
        pile the guys onto the Fung Wah bus
        for roadtrip to Boston. Sigh...
