Something I have learned from experience in my years on this planet:
When I was much younger I once decided to do a swan dive off of an outdoor 50-meter high dive. I climbed all the way to the top. Got to the top looked around. ... There is great view of the area from up there ... Walked out to the edge of the platform looked down at the pool ... and ... Did you know it is a LOT more difficult to climb down a ladder than up?

I have received several comments about this little math joke, some people like the humor and some people . . . well . . . let us just say . . . are not amused.
Normally I would not publicly post anything a person has said to me in a private email. However, there was one email I got a while back, I simply cannot pass up sharing just a little bit about it. (Without giving the person's real user id or what they actually said.)
Does anyone else see the humor/irony of a female blasting/flaming me, in very intricate detail, about how not all women are evil (especially not her), who has a user name that . . . when translated into English . . . means . . . "painful torturer" or "one who painfully tortures others"?

A matter of Perspective:
I once went into a little country store, I noticed a sign warning,
"Danger! Beware of dog!"
posted on the glass door.
Inside, I noticed a harmless old hound dog asleep on the floor beside the cash register.
"Is that the dangerous dog the sign is warning everyone to beware of?" I asked the owner.
"Yep, that's him," came the reply.
I couldn't help but be amused. "That certainly doesn't look like a dangerous dog.” As I reached down to pet the dog. “Why in the world would you post that sign?"
"Because," the owner explained, "Before I posted that sign, people kept tripping over him."

Difficult Choice
